All qualified health plans offered through BeWell have a core set of benefits, called essential health benefits (EHBs). EHBs must include items and services within the following 10 categories:

5. Mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment
6. Prescription drugs
7. Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices
8. Laboratory services
9. Preventive and wellness services and chronic disease management
10. Pediatric services, including oral and vision care

Essential health benefits are the minimum requirements for all Marketplace plans. Specific services covered in each broad benefit category can vary. When you compare plans in the Marketplace, you’ll see the specific benefits each plan offers.
