BeWell Unveils Colorful New Mural in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill Neighborhood

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A new piece of public art has arrived in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood. BeWell, New Mexico’s Health Insurance Marketplace, has unveiled a colorful new mural on the RE/MAX building at 3401 Central Ave. NE.

The vibrant mural features BeWell’s “What’s the best that can happen?” slogan alongside classic New Mexico imagery, adding a bold new landmark to the Central Avenue corridor.

The mural was created by Jaque Fragua, a New Mexico artist from Jemez Pueblo whose work spans public art, painting, sculpture and other media. Fragua is known for incorporating bold colors and elements of Native design and culture into his work. He has created and collaborated on murals throughout Albuquerque, including several in and around the Nob Hill area.

The new mural brings BeWell’s message to the community in a colorful and distinctly New Mexico way, reflecting the organization’s connection to the people and places it serves across the state.

Located in the heart of Nob Hill, the mural can be viewed at 3401 Central Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
