Get Started

BeWell is here to connect you to affordable health insurance alternatives if you do not qualify for Medicaid or have a health plan through your job. We are also the only place where you can qualify for subsidies to lower the cost of your monthly premiums.

Open Enrollment begins on November 1, 2024, and ends on January 15, 2025. You may be eligible for coverage now through a special enrollment period.

To be eligible for low-cost or no-cost health coverage, you:

  • Must reside in New Mexico
  • Do not have health insurance through your job or a parent’s job
  • Are not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid
  • Are not incarcerated

Find An Upcoming Event

Our BeWell team members are out in the community throughout the year. We regularly hold two types of events. At Enrollment events you can speak to a certified enrollment counselor who will help you enroll in a plan at the event. At Educational events you can get information about enrolling in health insurance through BeWell and the plans available. You can then enroll in a plan at a later time. Text JOIN to 844-515-5554 to get updates about BeWell events near you. Or find an event on our calendar and come see us!

Here’s the Information You Need.

Browse Our Glossary of Health Insurance Terms

This glossary provides general information. It defines medical terms you may see. It’s not a complete list. Your health plan may define these terms in your plan documents. Look at your plan documents for details. Not sure where to look? Check your Summary of Benefits and Coverage to find out how to get a copy of your policy or plan document.
