BeWell Achieves Enrollment Milestone for 2025 Coverage

BeWell, New Mexico’s Health Insurance Marketplace, successfully concluded its 2025 Open Enrollment Period with a total of 71,416 New Mexicans enrolled in health insurance coverage. This marks an increase of nearly 14,000 customers compared to last year, reflecting BeWell’s continued success in helping our community enroll in affordable health care options for individuals and families across the state.

Key enrollment highlights include:

• Medical Only: 52,206 consumers (73.10%)
• Medical & Dental: 18,165 consumers (25.44%)
• Dental Only: 1,045 consumers (1.46%)

“We continue to focus on New Mexicans and their needs. It’s clear that this approach is having a meaningful impact,” said BeWell’s Chief Executive Officer Bruce Gilbert. “We saw more than 1,000 people enroll yesterday alone! I am so proud of the team and New Mexicans for taking their health seriously.”

The growth in enrollments shows the effectiveness of BeWell’s efforts to educate communities, simplify the enrollment process, and address barriers to health care access. As health care coverage becomes more accessible, more families and individuals can take proactive steps toward maintaining their health and well-being.

BeWell has also engaged communities statewide through outreach efforts such as local events, educational campaigns, and partnerships with community organizations. These efforts ensure every New Mexican has the opportunity to secure health insurance that fits their needs and budget.
