Mobility Clinic

Join us for the So Every BODY Can Move (SEBCM) Mobility Clinic, hosted by Kyle Stepp, Team USA Elite Para Triathlete, Lead Advocate for SEBCM, and a BeWell Ambassador. Find us this Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Highland High School Track.

SEBCM is a groundbreaking, state-by-state, legislative initiative aimed at ensuring equitable access to orthotic and prosthetic care for physical activity. Thanks to advocacy efforts, New Mexico House Bill 131 (2023), now mandates health insurance coverage for activity-specific prosthetic and orthotic devices. This pivotal legislation ensures individuals with limb loss and limb differences can access both everyday devices and additional equipment tailored for physical activity, reinforcing their right to movement.

The SEBCM Mobility Clinic aims to empower our limb loss and limb difference community. Participants will have the opportunity to try out activity-specific devices, including running blades and other prosthetics. Individuals of all ability levels are welcome to come learn from experts in a supportive environment and build confidence in mobility.
