If you are a military veteran and do not have veterans’ health care, visit the US Department of Veterans Affairs website. You may qualify for VA coverage.

If you do not qualify for VA coverage, or do not have other veterans’ health benefits, Medicaid or Medicare, you may be eligible for health insurance through BeWell. Depending on your household size and income, you could qualify for financial help to lower your monthly health insurance premiums.

If your dependents are not eligible for a VA health care program, they may also qualify for coverage through BeWell, Medicaid, or financial help.

TRICARE’s young adult coverage option is different from the Affordable Care Act’s “younger than 26” rules. Make sure you understand how qualifying ages, benefits and other details differ.
