BeWell has made some major changes over the past year. We refreshed our look and put more of an emphasis on you—our customers.
With your health in mind, we have another exciting announcement to make: BeWell is now working to revamp our eligibility and enrollment platform! Our partner in this new project is GetInsured, a leading company in health insurance marketplace technology.
What It Means for You
Together with GetInsured, BeWell is building a better back-end infrastructure for the insurance enrollment process. Our goal is to give you a smoother, more customer-forward process in the future.
How This Partnership Happened
In February 2024, BeWell opened a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) to search for the right partner. Our RFP committee, including both internal and external stakeholders, followed the state’s strict procurement process to evaluate the bidders.
After thoughtful consideration, the BeWell Board of Directors unanimously approved moving forward with GetInsured as our contracted software partner in May 2024.

What’s Happening Now
The upgrade is an intensive project, and it takes time to achieve a seamless transition of our backend systems. We anticipate moving fully to the new GetInsured platform for Open Enrollment for 2026.
Once we are up and running, there will be several new customer features. You can look forward to:
- Clear steps to sign up for a health insurance plan
- Easy access to Certified Assisters throughout the enrollment process
- Helpful definitions and explanations throughout the site
- Simple steps to update information, change plans, and determine financial assistance

We created a new page called Evolve 2026, which is dedicated to sharing status updates and other announcements. Evolve is the official name of the project transition for the BeWell team.
