Enrolling in coverage takes more than just choosing a plan. To finish your enrollment, you’ll need to follow all the steps below:
- Anonymous Shopping (optional)
- Create an Account
- Complete an Application
- Choose Your Plan
- Make Your First Payment
Step 1: Anonymous Shopping (Optional)
You can start by browsing plans anonymously, or skip this step and go straight to creating an account. If you skip anonymous shopping, you’ll need to shop for plans after your account is created.
Step 2: Create an Account
Set up your BeWell account to get started with your application.
Step 3: Complete Your Application
Fill out your application with your household and income details. If you need guidance, check out our article on completing the application.
Step 4: Choose Your Plan
Once your application is submitted:
- If you skipped anonymous shopping, you’ll now browse and select your plan.
- If you already chose plans while browsing, click “View Details” to confirm they still meet your needs.
When you select a plan, you’ll see the status “Pending” next to it under “Your Health Plan” on your dashboard. At this point, your enrollment is not yet complete.
Step 5: Make Your First Payment
Your account will remain in “Pending” status until you make your first month’s payment. To pay:
- Go to My Enrollments
- Click Pay Now
- Select Proceed to Payment
This will take you to your carrier’s payment portal to submit your first payment. Once your payment is processed, your enrollment is complete!
