If you chose to auto renew at the end of your plan year 2026 BeWell application, you will not need to worry about renewing your plan next year. That will happen automatically.
If you did not choose to auto renew, but still need insurance for the next plan year, you will need to fill out a new application.
Because BeWell is switching customer portals from 2025 to 2026, there will be two different ways to manually renew your plan based on the last year you were enrolled.
You had a plan in 2025:
If you had a plan through BeWell in 2025 and did not opt to have your plan auto renewed, you will receive either a letter or email (depending on your contact preferences) with an access code to claim your account in our new portal. If you have questions, you can read our article on how to claim your account.
Once you have claimed your account you can shop for plans and apply for coverage during open enrollment. Open enrollment for 2026 insurance plans starts on November 1, 2025, and ends on January 15, 2026.
You had a plan in 2026:
If you had a plan through BeWell in 2026 and chose not to auto enroll, you can log back in to your account during open enrollment to re-apply and shop for plans.
